Your future is important to you. One component concerns your financial security, which you ensure by investing in your Swiss Life Opportunities product. At the same time, however, sustainability is also important to you. You want to use resources so that they are also available to future generations in the same quality and quantity.
Sustainability is manifested in several dimensions:
- Environmental sustainability aims to protect the natural resources of life (e.g. by reducing CO2 emissions, using renewable energies).
- Economic sustainability aims to achieve long-term and sustainable economic activities (e.g. through corporate responsibility, investing in sustainable technologies).
- Social sustainability aims to create a just and liveable society (e.g. through fair working conditions, access to education and health).
Swiss Life Opportunities offers you the opportunity to equip your investment with sustainable investment funds.
The Asset Management Association Switzerland (AMAS) defines what distinguishes a sustainability-related investment fund. AMAS as self-regulating body is the trade association for the Swiss asset management industry and sets the standards and guidelines for the investment funds in focus here. AMAS defines binding requirements for the organisation of financial institutions that set up and manage sustainability-related investment funds, and the associated disclosure obligations.
How is sustainability implemented at
Swiss Life Opportunities ?
Swiss Life Opportunities has several sustainable investment funds available. They are indicated accordingly in the fund offering:
Investment fund is compatible with sustainability goals
Anlagefonds liefert einen Beitrag an Nachhaltigkeit
All sustainable investment funds are available to clients with the “interested” sustainability preference. All sustainable investment funds are also available to clients with the “very interested” sustainability preference, but they must invest at least 25% of their offensive element in a fund that contributes to sustainability.
As part of the appropriateness assessment, you determine your sustainability preference. If you opt for a sustainable investment option in Swiss Life Opportunities, you invest fully in sustainability-related or sustainable investment funds.
